Dark Pools
This project was conceived and executed while in residency at Celine Bureau, Montréal. It acts as a physical representation of the concept of “dark pools”- a term used in the financial sector for private exchanges. They are named such because the details of these trades are concealed from the public until after they are executed, clouding the transactions like murky water.
Using Python and Markov chains, computationally generated financial advice was created and then presented on water-soluble paper for visitors to freely interact with.
